Chileno El Toro

I went to Chile in 2001 looking for a great Chilean herdsire. El Toro was just a couple of months old when I saw him. I knew right then he was the future herdsire he is becoming. Because he was so young, we also purchased his dam, Chilena Spirolina. In El Toro's first show, he was Reserve Grand Champion Heavy Wool Male. He had his ALSA ROM the first year that he was shown and was 5th at 2002 ALSA Grand Nationals. This year, 2003, he earned his ALSA heavy wool male halter champion status. We showed him at the 2003 ALSA Grand Nationals and he took 1st place in 2 year old heavy wool males and Reserve Grand Champion heavy wool male. When he returned home from Nationals, his first cria were born, all girls and all show stock. We are looking forward in starting to work on his ALSA get of sire champion status.
